For a local edition, begin with one lead story, its caption and a classified advert containing a phone number. This gives you a useful mixed-direction test before you lay out the remaining pages.
Prepare the approved story, headline, byline, caption, image credit and edition date together. In XLR8, assemble the page, review the generated layout and make corrections before exporting.
