Marathi newspaper maker & layout software
Marathi newspaper maker for district and local editions
A Marathi district edition often mixes long place names, compact local reports and small advertisements. XLR8 Print supports Marathi newspaper production; start with approved Unicode copy and check how that copy fits the actual columns rather than copying the line breaks from a word processor.

Start with a page from your own newsroom
Test a district lead with a village name in the headline, a reporter’s byline and a small notice. Proof that page at the size at which readers will actually see it.
Prepare the approved story, headline, byline, caption, image credit and edition date together. In XLR8, assemble the page, review the generated layout and make corrections before exporting. Newspaper generation assists production; an editor still approves facts, spelling and what belongs in the edition.
Three checks before you approve the page
Check Marathi copy, not just Devanagari support
Include words containing ळ, ऱ and conjuncts in your test paragraph. Review personal and village names against the reporter’s approved copy; a font displaying the script is not a spelling check.
Refit long headlines editorially
A district name can push a headline onto another line. Rewrite or rebalance the headline with the editor before shrinking the entire line; check the matras above and below it at the final size.
Keep edition facts consistent
Check the district label, date, page number and any continuation reference together. When reusing a page, also review yesterday’s caption and advert dates; those are easy to overlook in a familiar layout.
Build the paper. Build its reach. Build a stronger publishing business.
A publication does not stop at the printing press. XLR8 Print brings newspaper production, a news website service, and a billing system together—so the edition, its audience, and the business behind it can move forward as one.
The edition
Shape approved stories, photographs, and advertisements into editable pages, then review the edition before it goes to press.
The audience
Give the publication a credible digital home through our news website service, and stay present beyond the morning paper.
The business
Keep billing organised with a system built for the commercial work behind a newspaper, backed by the same team that supports your publication.
Read the PDF, not just the editor
Check names, numerals, photographs, adverts and page size again in the exported PDF. Send one representative page to your printer before producing a complete edition. Use the printer’s requested export settings; increasing a DPI number will not restore detail missing from a source image.
