Developed by Indian Engineers | A New Era of Hindi Newspaper Production

₹20 per printed page — less than a cutting chai. Stop paying ₹15,000/month for an operator.

Our Story

We built XLR8 Print in a Paris apartment — for a newspaper in Bhopal.

Because one sick operator should not threaten 47,000 morning readers.

01

The midnight call

On a cold evening in 2024, a Hindi newspaper owner in Bhopal called us at 11:47 PM. His operator was sick. The next morning's 12-page edition was half laid out. 47,000 readers would wake up to blank pages — an edition skipped, a reputation dented, a legacy bruised.

02

The question we couldn't unhear

We sat in a Paris apartment that night and asked: why should a single person's flu threaten 47,000 households? Why should a 40-year-old newspaper's legacy depend on whether one operator took leave? That question became XLR8 Print.

03

What we built

A newsroom that cannot take sick leave. An AI that understands Devanagari better than most operators. A layout engine that respects the shirorekha. A PDF export that survives any printing press. And a price that does not humiliate small publishers.

04

Today

The owner sleeps through the night. His operator is no longer a single point of failure. The newspaper prints on time, every time. And across Hindi India — UP, MP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Chhattisgarh — owners are asking the same question he asked us: why hasn't someone built this already?

05

We did. From France. For India.

With everything we know about typography, AI, and the unforgiving deadline of a printing press at 4 AM.

Vision

Our Vision

Every district daily in India should have the tools of a ₹100-crore publisher — without the licensing fees, without the operator headache, without the 4 AM panic.

Mission

Our Mission

Eliminate operator dependency from Indian regional publishing — so owners sleep at night and readers get better journalism.

What we believe

01

Shirorekha first

Devanagari is not an afterthought. Every engineering decision protects the connecting line.

02

No truncation, ever

The AI regenerates until it fits. Content is never silently cut.

03

Built in India. Engineered in France.

A small team across two continents, one relentless focus: Indian regional newsrooms.

04

The owner is the customer

Not the operator. Not the IT vendor. Not the agency. The person who signs the payroll — that's who we serve.

Built for every Indian language

Hindi-first. Everything else too.

Devanagari, Urdu Nastaliq, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati — one editor, the language your city actually reads. Not just font swaps: correct typography and shaping per script.
