Three checks before you approve the page
Check Gujarati glyphs and vowel signs
Use words containing vowel signs and joined letters in the actual body font. Check that nothing is missing or replaced by a box, especially after pasting text from a different application.
Edit a long headline before squeezing it
Personal names and business names can make a headline longer than expected. Keep the approved spelling and revise the wording or line break with the editor, rather than compressing the text until it is hard to read.
Review advert numbers separately
Check rates, quantities, dates and telephone numbers against the approved advert. Then review the same information in the PDF, where a font change or unexpected wrap may be easier to spot.

Read the PDF, not just the editor
Check names, numerals, photographs, adverts and page size again in the exported PDF. Send one representative page to your printer before producing a complete edition. Use the printer’s requested export settings; increasing a DPI number will not restore detail missing from a source image.
