Inspect joined consonants and marks below the line in captions and notices. If they crowd the next line, adjust the line spacing or font choice before applying that style across all pages.
Keep local names intact
Compare village, taluk and personal names with the reporter’s approved text. Rework a headline that does not fit instead of inserting arbitrary spaces into a name or dropping an essential qualifier.
Check reuse across district editions
A familiar template can hide yesterday’s date or a different district label. Review the masthead, captions, advert dates and continuation references as a set before final approval.

Read the PDF, not just the editor
Check names, numerals, photographs, adverts and page size again in the exported PDF. Send one representative page to your printer before producing a complete edition. Use the printer’s requested export settings; increasing a DPI number will not restore detail missing from a source image.
